It’s never too late or too early to start teaching your baby good sleeping habits. There are plenty of little tricks you can use in the first weeks of life to get baby off to the best start. A very common time for parents to come to me for support is around the 4-5 month mark when baby’s sleep habits begin to change. The parents have had several months of broken sleep and it is beginning to take a toll on everyone in the home. Every child can greatly benefit from better sleeping habits, no matter the age.
Most likely, yes. When changes are made to anyone’s sleep habits and environments, protest is expected. And since crying is the only form of communication a baby has, it makes sense that they will cry in response to change at bedtime. My methods are NOT based on the Cry It Out approach. It is hard to say how much your individual baby will protest; some babies adapt very quickly, some take a bit longer.

Yes. If you’re sharing a room with your child, a great strategy is to set up a divider (or something similar) between you and your child for a while. Once your child is sleeping well through the night, you can remove the divider if you choose.

No. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee the success of your baby’s sleep coaching, as I cannot be with you all of the time to assure you are following all my recommendations. But, I can honestly say that I have had a 100% success rate for my clients, if you follow my recommendations. I will do everything I possibly can to assist you and your baby reach your sleep goals.
Voxer is a live, push-to-talk, messaging app. You push the button to talk and I can hear you on the other end as you speak. Everything is also simultaneously recorded, so we can play back any message later.

I’ve worked with a lot of busy parents and it can be hard to find a stretch within the day for a call that actually fits into their calendar. A call that might have looked good while scheduling it, can often become a problem the day-of, if naps don’t land right, or if you’re in the car the moment of our call, or you have a last minute appointment to get to. Voxer bypasses all of that and allows you to send messages on the go, the moment you have a question.

It allows clarity in tone and intent, that email and text just can’t provide. Voxer removes the need to type a lengthy email/text and allows you to quickly move on with your day.
You can Voxer me as many times as you like during your follow-up support period. As soon as you send your message, I will Voxer back within 24hrs during the week (M-F), although I have never taken that long to respond to someone. Messages will not normally be returned between the hours of 3:30pm and 8:30am Pacific Standard Time.
If you haven’t ever used Voxer before, I’m sure there is some nervousness about trying something new. Heck! I was brought kicking and screaming into the iPhone age, myself. Granted this was years ago, but I was content with my flip-phone and I didn’t want to be accessible 24/7. But now the applications are wonderful and limitless, now that I have access to Amazon and can stream The Walking Dead on my phone!
